DANNY ABEL


Director

Danny Abel is a director and writer living in Los Angeles. He has directed documentaries on topics ranging from international electronic music (VICE), to performance art (New Museum), to horse racing, to vaccine acceptance in Kenya. In the past few years, he has had two true crime scripts produced at A&E. He also works with many brands and networks including: The Onion, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Showtime, Above Average, OnePlus and Tiger Woods. The King of North Sudan is his first feature documentary.

BRETT BLAKE


Producer

Brett Blake is a Producer with a background in documentary and comedy. Brett’s first documentary, which he co-produced at the age of thirteen about the loss of his mother to breast cancer, aired on PBS and wa featured on The Oprah Winfrey Show. Since then, he has worked as a producer and creative for companies ranging from The Onion, truTV, Funny or Die, Team Coco, Above Average (Broadway Video’s digital arm), IFC, as well as countless agencies and brands.

ADAM BHALA LOUGH


Executive Producer

Adam Bhala Lough is a Punjabi-American film director, producer and writer with a proven track record crafting award-winning film and video content which generates high profits and global viewership on Netflix, Hulu, Apple, Showtime, BBC, and many others.

Directing credits include: Bomb the System (2002), WEAPONS (2007) starred a young Nick Cannon and Paul Dano and was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival, the critically acclaimed and highly controversial Lil Wayne documentary The Carter (2009), The New Radical (2017 US Documentary Competition, Sundance Film Festival), Alt-Right: Age of Rage (2018), currently on Netflix in the US and the BBC in the UK.

DANNY McBRIDE


Executive Producer

Daniel Richard McBride is an American actor, comedian, director, producer, and writer. He starred in the HBO television series Eastbound & Down, Vice Principals, and The Righteous Gemstones, also co-creating the former two with frequent collaborator Jody Hill while creating the latter himself.

He has starred in films such as The Foot Fist Way (2006), Hot Rod (2007), Pineapple Express (2008), Tropic Thunder (2008), Up in the Air (2009), Your Highness (2011), This Is the End (2013), and Alien: Covenant (2017). He has done voice acting for Despicable Me (2010), Kung Fu Panda 2 (2011), The Angry Birds Movie, Sausage Party (both 2016), The Angry Birds Movie 2 (2019), and The Mitchells vs. the Machines (2021).

DAVID GORDON GREEN


Executive Producer

David Gordon Green is an American filmmaker. He directed the dramas George Washington (2000), All the Real Girls (2003), and Snow Angels (2007), as well as the thriller Undertow (2004), all of which he wrote or co-wrote.

In 2008, Green transitioned into comedy, directing the films Pineapple Express (2008), Your Highness and The Sitter (both 2011). He returned to his dramatic roots with the independent films Prince Avalanche and Joe (both 2013), followed by the films Manglehorn (2014), Our Brand Is Crisis (2015), and Stronger (2017). Green also directed the slasher film Halloween (2018), which he co-wrote with frequent collaborator Danny McBride. He is also set to direct the next two installments of the franchise.

Green also directed episodes of the acclaimed comedy series Eastbound & Down (2009–2013), Red Oaks (2014–17), Vice Principals (2016–17), and The Righteous Gemstones (2019–present), on all of which he additionally served as executive producer.

JODY HILL


Executive Producer

Jody Hill is an American film director, producer, screenwriter, and actor. In 2006, he directed, co-wrote, co-produced and co-starred in his first film The Foot Fist Way, which he based on his experience as a Taekwondo black belt and instructor. His follow-up film, Observe and Report, stars Seth Rogen and was released on April 10, 2009. Hill is also co-creator, director and executive producer of the HBO series Eastbound & Down, Vice Principals, and The Righteous Gemstones.

BEN McINTIRE


Director of Photography

Ben McIntire is an American director of photography living in Stockholm, Sweden. He has worked with such clients as Vice Media and History Channel, as well as completing several feature and short documentaries. He garnered two back-to-back New York Daytime Emmy's in 2010 and 2011 for his docu-series work.

He has directed and shot ads for Intel, Rockport Shoes, Google, Malibu Rum, among many others. A 30-minute Vice/Smirnoff sponsored-doc he lensed, earned a 2016 Webby for Best Longform Branded Entertainment.

COLLIN HEGNA


Composer

Collin Hegna is a Portland, Oregon-based musician, composer, and recording engineer. Hegna founded the Spaghetti Western-themed indie rock combo Federale and remains their principal songwriter. In addition, he has played bass with The Brian Jonestown Massacre since 2004.
